Community Manager
About the role
This is a full-seat community manager position where you're accountable for financial performance, occupancy, team development, resident satisfaction, and the physical condition of the asset. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing delinquency reports and following up on collections
- Walking the property for curb appeal and punch list items
- Coordinating with maintenance on work order backlog
- Ensuring the leasing team converts traffic
- Handling tough resident conversations and coaching team members
- Setting pricing strategy and renewal targets with regional guidance
- Supporting the leasing team on tours during high-volume periods
- Monitoring occupancy and adjusting concessions or marketing spend proactively
- Managing vendors, compliance, deposit accounting, move-out processing, online reputation, social media, and resident events
Core platforms used are Yardi and Knock.
Requirements
- At least two years in multifamily, including experience as a leasing consultant and assistant manager
- Six months of direct community manager experience (strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of Yardi, Knock, and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED (CAM, CAPS, or a real estate license is a plus)
- Valid driver's license
Ideal candidates understand the connection between financial performance and team morale, can analyze a T-12 to identify NOI leaks, and motivate their team effectively.

Pay
Compensation includes a base salary plus monthly leasing and renewal commissions and quarterly performance bonuses.
Schedule
Leasing office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with Saturday hours from 10 AM to 4 PM. One weekday off per week keeps it at a 40-hour schedule, though resident events and community needs may occasionally require additional hours.
