About the Role
As a Community Manager, you will lead our community staff to achieve excellence, help potential residents find their new dream home, and ensure our current residents never imagine leaving our community and the IRT family.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the on-site team to deliver excellent resident service
- Oversee leasing activity and drive occupancy goals
- Conduct regular property walks to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal
- Manage resident relations and resolve concerns promptly
- Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control
- Coordinate with vendors and oversee service contracts
- Train and mentor staff to support professional growth
- Respond to online reviews and manage the property’s reputation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years in multi-family community management or 4+ years in a leadership role within the field
- Experience managing a single community with 500 units
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong planning, time management, and deadline adherence
- Skilled in analyzing rent rolls, financial reports, and payables/receivables
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); Entrata experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to attend a company-paid, multi-day, out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date
