If that's how you work too, we want to meet you. The Community Manager owns the full operation of your assigned property. You're the on-site leader, the person who drives occupancy, protects asset value, builds a high-performing team, and delivers an exceptional resident experience.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with your Regional Supervisor and have the authority to make things happen with the support of a company that has your back. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Management: Partner with your Regional Supervisor on annual budget development, review financial statements, and prepare variance reports.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and develop your on-site team, conduct performance reviews, and manage scheduling.
  • Operations & Administration: Maintain complete, accurate lease files, submit timely and accurate reports, and attend regional and corporate management meetings.
  • Resident Experience: Foster a positive, service-first culture on property, handle resident concerns, and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Maintenance & Property Condition: Conduct regular property walks, inspect vacant units, and coordinate make-ready schedules with the maintenance team.
  • Leasing & Marketing: Conduct monthly market surveys, personally engage with prospective residents, and monitor market trends.
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety training with all new hires, complete semi-annual property safety inspections, and report all workers' comp claims and liability incidents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of on-site property management experience
  • Proven track record in team leadership and property operations
  • Experience with distressed asset repositioning
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and RealPage (or comparable property management software)
  • CAM or CPM designation a plus — not required
  • High school diploma required; college degree a plus
