Community Manager
About the role
The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As a Community Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
Responsibilities
Essential duties include:
- Personnel management, including hiring, training, and developing on-site staff
- Financial management, including achieving the highest possible net operating income and developing yearly operating budgets/forecasts
- Strategic leasing management, including developing marketing plans and utilizing marketing strategies
- Administrative and maintenance management, including ensuring all administrative and leasing reporting is accurate and submitted on time
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
The employee is regularly required to communicate with others, repeat motions, and assess the accuracy of work. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move about, or work in various environments. The employee is occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders, move objects, and operate machinery.
Skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Pay
Salary Range: $80,000 per year to $85,000 per year
