Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong strategic awareness of community requirements related to facilities and performance
- Collaborate with the Recruiter and Regional Manager to recruit and interview candidates
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision for the leasing and maintenance teams while setting performance goals
- Create a site-level meeting framework for clear and consistent communication within and across the team
- Handle resident and prospect feedback and concerns as a decision-maker
- Leverage Ackermann Group’s property management software and reporting tools to evaluate and manage property level occupancy and financial performance
- Collaborate with leadership team on marketing strategies
- Ensure an efficient maintenance operation through unit turns, grounds maintenance, preventative maintenance, and service request completions
- Manage site-level capital expenditure projects in collaboration with leadership team
- Perform various job functions as needed to meet operational demands, ensuring high levels of service and efficiency
Requirements
- Full-time availability: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm, plus at least one Saturday per month, 9:00am - 4:00pm (additional Saturdays may be required)
- At least 2 years of residential property management or relevant leadership, operations, and/or performance management experience
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred
- Proven ability to meet financial goals of a community
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office products, with preference for Yardi Voyager, Rent Café CRM, EliseAI, AIRM
- Understanding of applicable Fair Housing laws and standards
