Responsibilities
- Provides daily oversight and technical assistance to associates, clients and families regarding residential placements (community living homes) and services.
- Directs care to clients residing within Milestone Intellectual, Disabilities and Autism (I&DA) residential program.
- Daily operations of homes:
- Staff supervision and training
- Performing on-call responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of home(s)
- Vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Compliance with Milestone Operational and agency specific Personnel Policies and Procedures and Partners for Quality (PFQ) Corporate Personnel Policies and Procedures.
- Compliance with 6400 Regulations and the Office of Developmental Program (ODP) Medication Administration Guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding with Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) program standards.
- Quality Management and Planning.
- Incorporating the Agency’s Vision, Mission and Values into daily routine.
- Coinciding and monitoring of individuals’ finances.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Completion of Professional Development Plans for all assigned staff.
- Review and submit service notes in line with the state regulations to ensure accurate billing: provide training to staff on creating a quality service note.
- Handles client and staff emergencies.
- Provides on-call coverage as needed.
- Makes sure the home supervised outside of the regular workday.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma / GED and one (1) year experience providing services and support to people with intellectual disabilities and / or Autism.
- An associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and six (6) months experience providing services and support to people with intellectual disabilities and / or Autism.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- One (1) year experience in residential programs.
- One (1) year management experience preferred.
