About the role

Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm headquartered in Nashville, TN, is seeking a full-time Community Lifestyle Manager to join their dynamic team at Fairington in Nolensville, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Research and plan events
  • Create and Manage Community Event Calendar
  • Create fliers for Events and promote via all marketing channels
  • Support SLC marketing events as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the property management team on management of the HOA website and the user experience
  • Manage maintenance issues for amenities
  • Cook up and coordinate fitness equipment maintenance
  • Process private and other reservations
  • Send weekly announcements Email Blasts
  • Issue access Fobs
  • Manage all instructors (fitness and other)
  • Research and schedule instructors for classes
  • Keep all supplies in the clubhouse stocked
  • Manage the Founder’s Club program
  • Participate in local activity planners’ association
  • Cooperate and exchange ideas and calendars with Lifestyle Managers in the industry
  • Represent the community by speaking with perspective buyers, giving tours, and marketing the community as needed
  • Aid with Westhaven/Westerly events until Fairington is more fully occupied

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in event management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with customers and colleagues in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize work, and ask for assistance and clarification when necessary
  • Ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential
