Community Liaison

About the Role

Successfully leads the resident recruitment process by establishing and cultivating meaningful relationships with prospects and their families, identifying individual candidate’s needs. Develops and maintains productive internal and external marketing strategies, including referral sources and community relationships. Maintains occupancy levels, tracks and trends resident movements, serves as the central point of contact for all prospective residents, and manages the admission/assessment process in collaboration with the community management team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct at all times.
• Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies.
• Fosters a positive community image and presents a professional image.
• Forms alliances with key community individuals influential in geriatric care.
• Develops relationships with religious, healthcare, skilled-care, and other professional service providers.
• Creates and distributes promotional materials to generate inquiries.
• Represents the community at local functions, including hosting support groups and participating in community events.
• Meets or exceeds monthly contact performance measures.
• Achieves budgeted occupancy goals.
• Cultivates resident and family relationships, conducts tours, and assesses candidate needs.
• Qualifies candidates financially and physically, working towards move-in commitments.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing or human services field preferred.
• Superior communication skills and strong customer service orientation required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to travel required.
• Prior experience in senior marketing, sales, senior housing, long-term care insurance, hospitality, or healthcare/personal care preferred.
