About the Role
A Community Liaison at Glastonbury Center for Health & Rehabilitation creates meaningful partnerships that benefit residents and enhance the center's reputation within the community. This role focuses on promoting services and fostering relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and families to position the center as a valuable resource.
Responsibilities
- Implement and coordinate all center sales-related activities.
- Develop and implement community and professional events to increase awareness of the center.
- Conduct outreach to prospective residents, resident family members, and community leaders.
- Build referral partner relationships with local physicians, senior centers, adult day programs, hospitals, clinical referral sources, and community leaders.
- Conduct individual and group tours, telephone calls, letters, and information sessions on/off site.
- Maintain robust sales activity, including consistent follow-up, phone calls, and tours.
- Meet or exceed budgeted financial indicators and expectations.
- Develop and implement census development plans with the Director of Admissions and Regional Director of Business Development.
- Maintain records of all sales activities in approved CRM software.
- Deliver service excellence throughout each prospective customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and education.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in Marketing and/or Sales, preferably in admissions and marketing for skilled nursing facilities or senior living sales.
- Healthcare background and experience working with seniors preferred.
- Proficient in physician marketing and selling to ancillary hospital service lines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong independent contributor and collaborative team player.
- Ability to travel locally to attend functions, network within the community, create and implement events, and work occasional weekends.
- Self-motivated, creative, and possessing a high degree of interpersonal skills.
