Overview
The Community Impact Manager leads United Way of Chatham County’s collective impact initiatives in support of the organization’s mission and its Bold Goal to move 2,000 people out of poverty. This position serves as a backbone leader for collaborative community efforts that address the root causes of poverty and improve outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Convenes stakeholders, facilitates cross-sector collaboration, coordinates shared strategies and manages community data and reporting efforts across collective impact initiatives.
- Serves as the primary staff lead for the Chatham Housing Collective (CHC) and the Chatham Success Network (CSN).
- Supports the development and implementation of additional community impact strategies aligned with United Way’s mission and Bold Goal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, public policy, urban planning) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community organizing, program management, or related field.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
