About The Position

The Community Impact Coordinator (CIC) is a skilled professional who works directly for the CEO, carrying out the organization's strategic initiatives and assisting on active projects. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. The candidate should also have experience working as both independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with community stakeholders, and providing support on multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, an ability to remain flexible and to prioritize work activities while meeting respective deadlines in a timely manner is critical to be successful in the position.

Essential Functions

  • Organizes and maintains CEO engagement with connections and contacts by providing administrative or communication support which may include interfacing with clients, government officials, community stakeholders, community partners or other members of the internal team.
  • Reads and summarizes project-related or current event documents in both verbal and written form to perform regular briefings.
  • Captures and coordinates arrangements and accommodations for meetings, presentations, public facing launches, and additional project-related events.
  • Aids in the execution of organizational storytelling inclusive of social media presence, analysis of data, development of reports, proofreading and editing of documents, and preparation of presentations.

Other Responsibilities (if Applicable)

  • Supports internal projects focused on enterprise building on an ad hoc basis.
  • Creates and critiques visual documents such as flyers, social media posts, PowerPoints, or other presentations.
  • Maintains project filing system and contact database.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of project-based experience in policy, program administration, data evaluation.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in housing or small business industry.
  • Remote or Hybrid work experience.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb understanding of email correspondence and etiquette.
  • Proven community organizing or community event planning experience.
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Planner, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive).
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
