Community Homes Supervisor
Position Summary
The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day-to-day activities of the Community Home. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all house staff. The Supervisor functions as a Residential Companion and is part of the direct care team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years' experience working in a human service or related field
- Current driver's license
- Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire
- First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire
- Preferred: Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a human service, Special Education or related field
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or related field
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations)
