About the role

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a person-centered approach to program plan development and participates in activities to build competencies and integrate individuals into their communities.
• Assists individuals we serve to identify social, recreation and other community resources the individual may wish to access and devise plans to achieve that access.
• Negotiates schedules and daily activities directly with the individual and/or caregiver.
• Establish and maintain regular hours with individual(s) that you work with.
• Completes all mandated reporting requirements by Wildwood and regulating agencies.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and a driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
• Access to a vehicle needed to provide services.

Qualifications

• A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and a driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
• Might need daily access to a vehicle based on program needs.

Skills

Great amount of commitment, self-motivation and solid communication skills are essential.
