General Summary

The Community Growth Manager is responsible for driving membership and organizational growth through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and targeted outreach.

Key Essential Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate partnerships that drive member, deposit, and lending growth across businesses, community organizations, and consumers.
  • Represent the credit union at community events, financial wellness workshops, business expos, and networking functions.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and target markets.
  • Lead and expand the Bank at Work program including partner acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, events, and localized outreach initiatives.
  • Track and analyze business development metrics, partnership performance, membership growth, and engagement outcomes.
  • Promote and maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management, and vendors.
  • Demonstrates the Credit Union’s core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, and Responsibility.
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments including but not limited to changes in regulations and technology.
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is strongly preferred. Will consider qualified candidates with proven work experience in a similar role at a bank or credit union.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, community relations or financial services.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and engage diverse audiences, from small business owners to nonprofit leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
