Temporary full-time onsite role in Manhattan, NY (10038) for approximately 5 weeks. Hourly rate: $30.00–$35.00.

About the role

Our client is the world’s largest intimates specialty retailer, offering modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim, athleisure, prestige fragrances, and body care. Community Managers will play a critical role in actively participating in the conversation around the upcoming client Fashion Show, engaging with fans, customers, creators, talent, and models across UGC and owned Instagram and TikTok posts before, during, and after the shows. This role ensures proactive community building, momentum amplification, and real-time sentiment management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous community coverage across owned and UGC Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content throughout the Fashion Show campaign.
  • Reactively and proactively engage with customers, creators, talent, fans, and models in real time before, during, and after the fashion show.
  • Monitor and respond to high-volume conversation, emerging trends, and cultural moments surrounding the show.
  • Proactively participate in relevant conversations to drive engagement, excitement, and community connection.
  • Engage with owned content and actively contribute to the conversation across brand channels.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify positive customer and fan sentiment, creator moments, talent content, and key Fashion Show moments.
  • Escalate customer concerns, sensitive topics, or emerging issues to the client Social Team and CCS Team as needed.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Social and Community teams to ensure seamless coverage and alignment throughout the campaign.
  • Capture and surface notable community insights, trends, questions, and sentiment during the Fashion Show window.
  • Support reporting on engagement and performance, surfacing viral comments/posts, noteworthy moments, meaningful consumer feedback, content and sentiment trends, and other key community insights.
  • Leverage social tools (including Plot and Dash) to proactively identify relevant posts, conversations, creators, and emerging trends, and engage with high-value opportunities in real time.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of social media and community content management experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the fashion industry.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok culture, trends, and platform behaviors.
  • Strong understanding of how to engage with online communities in an authentic, brand-appropriate way.
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly assess tone, sentiment, and context and determine the appropriate response.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where conversation can shift quickly.
  • Strong judgment and ability to escalate sensitive or high-priority conversations appropriately.
  • Passion for the client brand, fashion, beauty, entertainment, culture, and the social media landscape.
  • Available for scheduled shifts (4–5 hours per day, including weekends) throughout the 2-week campaign period, including heightened coverage surrounding the Fashion Show date.
