Community Education Preschool Classroom Assistant-Lake Elmo
About the Role
Assist classroom teacher in a preschool classroom, Monday to Friday, with varying hours: M-Th 4.50 hrs per day and Friday 7:15am-2:30pm. Preferred candidate will have experience working with young children. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably get up and down from a sitting position on the floor.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its GED equivalent.
- Desired candidate should have background/training in one or more of the following areas: child development, child guidance, human relations, communications, and recreational programming.
Qualifications
Experience working with young children is preferred.
Pay
$18.21 - $19.06 per hour
Schedule
Monday to Friday, with varying hours: M-Th 4.50 hrs per day and Friday 7:15am-2:30pm. Work is only on student contact days.
