Community Developer II

About the role

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for 2 temporary Community Developer II/Case Managers to provide information regarding a Customer's Government Program. The positions involve responding to inquiries regarding eligibility, conducting quarterly assessments, completing excel spreadsheets with assessment information, enrolling clients into county programs, and updating files.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with major course work in business or public administration, social service, sociology, psychology, or other fields; plus one (1) year of responsible work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of sources of information and research methods in the fields of physical, social, and/or economic community development, as well as human group behavior. Ability to work effectively as a team member, work effectively with diverse populations or their group representatives, collect and summarize, analyze and interpret a variety of socio-economic and related data, and describe observations, state arguments, and propose recommendations clearly, accurately, and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Pay

$22 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Conditions

Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

Conditions of Employment

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract. Must successfully complete a Blue Sky and customer background screening.
