WHO IS University Health Physicians
University Health Physicians (UHP) is the physician group practice for the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC) in conjunction with its major teaching facility. UMKC supports several residencies and the candidate will have teaching responsibilities for Family Medicine obstetrics fellows, Family Medicine residents, and medical students. UHP is also the primary physician group for Truman Medical Centers Lakewood/University Health in Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities

• Join our academic program located in a rapidly growing area of Kansas City.
• Provide family medicine services to their own patient panel.
• Work directly supervising residents and fellows on Labor and Delivery and in clinic.
• Facilitate the UMKC/UH Family Medicine Advanced Maternity Care Fellowship.
• Contribute to the academic program and allow for faculty development.
