Community & Events Outreach Coordinator

About the role

CSWD is seeking an energetic, organized, and community-minded team-member to provide outreach to Chittenden County residents, businesses, institutions, landlords, and event planners for the purpose of decreasing waste generation and increasing diversion of material from disposal.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach to Chittenden County residents, businesses, institutions, landlords, and event planners
• Decrease waste generation and increase diversion of material from disposal
• Work with a wide range of people and personalities

Qualifications

• Engaging presenter with solid waste knowledge
• Hard-working with a positive "can-do attitude"
• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends

Pay

$28.02/hour
