Communications Operator Trainee (911)

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

• Maintains and repairs plant facilities and equipment
• Monitors pumping, chemical distribution, feed, and flow rates
• Ensures the plant is operating efficiently
• Collects samples for analysis

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Additional vocational training in wastewater treatment plant operations
• One year of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations
• Valid Texas Driver’s license
