Communications Coordinator (Hybrid - NYC)

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage show assets, including photos, clips, loglines, and synopses
  • Track and process invoices and manage department budgets
  • Draft press releases, media alerts, and other publicity materials
  • Cook up talent travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Cook up glam services for talent
  • Aid in planning and executing press events, press days, premiere screenings, festivals, awards shows, and media events
  • Support talent and media relations activities
  • Participate in PR department meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Maintain and update publicity calendars and department schedules
  • Compile campaign coverage reports and publicity summaries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • 1+ years of experience in entertainment publicity
  • Understanding of entertainment media, industry trends, and social media
  • 1+ years of experience communicating with high-profile individuals, including talent, producers, and media
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Slack

This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in New York City.
