Communications Account Manager

About the Role

The Dedicated Communications Account Manager role manages the promotional strategy, marketing, and communications development for a large national Plan Sponsor. This includes working closely with Account Executives and the client to develop an annual promotional strategy that aligns with the client’s specific population, needs, and desires, as well as integrating with their overall communications strategy. The role also involves identifying unique communication channels, collaborating with client contacts, and ensuring a robust communications strategy around mental well-being.

Responsibilities

• Strategically reach employees with targeted communication materials based on client needs.
• Partner with client vendors to plan, create, and integrate information and services throughout multiple communication channels, including vendor ecards, flyers, monthly promotions, and website copy.
• Work closely with the client’s Operations team to create tailored monthly communications, such as awareness topic toolkits, manager/HR internal newsletters, and ad hoc requests.
• Collaborate with client-specific teams and resource groups to develop tailored communications, including promotional materials, events, internal channels, mental health awareness topics, service tiles, resource guides, flyers, and targeted promotions.
• Develop standard monthly communications, including toolkit ecards, hard copy flyers, and website materials, as well as benefit fair materials.
• Annually review and propose updates to materials and content, including calendars, toolkit templates, messaging, lanyard cards, promo materials, service sheets, brochures, and ad hoc promotions.
• Present content and materials to the client in working sessions.
• Develop custom content for urgent and crisis-related needs, including facilitating translations and working with operations teams to develop local resources.
• Attend onsite client meetings/events, including annual reviews, communications-focused meetings, and health fairs.
• Provide monthly utilization reporting, including campaigns, website utilization, QR codes, and UTM tracking.
• Collaborate with the engagement team to ideate new content materials that meet the Plan Sponsor’s needs.
• Meet urgent deadlines for immediate requests outside of the normal turnaround timeframe.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Marketing experience.
• 3-5 years of strategic planning and execution experience.
• Strong writing experience.
• Organizational experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong promotions and planning experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Clinical license (LCP, LCSW, CMHC, MHC, etc.).
• Preferred: Aetna/CVS Brand training - design and copywriting.
• Preferred: Marketing focused certification, degree, or equivalent experience.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $54,300.00 - $159,120.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
