Job Summary

The Scientist and Engineer labor category is comprised of analysts, engineers, and scientists with knowledge and skills to apply a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems. Specific knowledge and expertise may be required in specialized engineering fields.

Education and Experience

Level 4 – Requires over 10 years of experience and a master’s degree in the applicable discipline. This level typically works on high‑visibility or mission‑critical aspects of a program.

Security Clearance and Other Requirements

• Active U.S. TOP SECRET clearance and eligibility for a government security investigation
• Valid driver’s license; driving or renting a car for company business is expected
• Ability to pass a background check for access to specific installation bases (pertains to Technical Services positions)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
