Job Summary

The Scientist and Engineer labor category is comprised of analysts, engineers, and scientists with knowledge and skills to apply a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems. Specific knowledge and expertise may be required in specialized engineering fields.

Education and Experience

• Level 4 skill level: over 10 years of experience
• Master’s degree in the applicable discipline
• Typically works on high‑visibility or mission‑critical aspects of a given program

Security Clearance and Other Requirements

• Minimum active U.S. TOP SECRET clearance; subject to a government security investigation
• Valid driver’s license required for driving or renting a car for company business
• Ability to pass a background check to access specific working location installation bases

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
