Core Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing deliveries after they have been checked in by the Purchaser.
- Follow FIFO procedures while accurately labeling, dating, rotating, and storing all products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all walk-ins, storage areas, and shared kitchen spaces.
- Prepare and produce shared mise-en-place items including stocks, butters, oils, and other production components according to kitchen standards.
- Support station prep and maintain production schedules to ensure all kitchen areas are properly stocked for service.
- Uphold all Department of Health, sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the culinary team to support smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- 6 months or more of restaurant experience preferred.
- Desire to learn and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours), and to crouch, bend, and lift or move 25+ lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00)
