About the role
The Commercial Framing Foreman at Sands Wall Systems is responsible for managing commercial projects in Rapid City and the surrounding area, focusing on work in the Western half of the state. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and a thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel stud framing.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a crew of workers on commercial framing projects.
- Provide technical advice to crew members and coordinate material and manpower with the Project Manager.
- Read and interpret blueprints and perform layout work.
- Lead by example and demonstrate leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Travel as needed for job assignments, which may require overnight stays.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial framing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in steel stud framing.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage a team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform layout work.
- Willingness to travel as needed for job assignments.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong background in commercial framing and leadership experience.

Pay

Schedule
