About the role

AMECO is seeking a Commercial & Supply Sales Account Representative to join our team in/around the Cincinnati, OH area. The ideal candidate will provide personalized solutions to meet equipment, tooling, and consumable needs for various industries such as construction, scaffolding, industrial, and electrical power welding & rigging.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share by prospecting new business and servicing existing accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Foster and maintain long-term relationships with customers to drive increased customer spend and trust in AMECO.
  • Manage an assigned account base, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales and profitability objectives.
  • Utilize a CRM platform to build and manage a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Outside Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
  • Prior exposure to supply distribution, equipment rental, mechanical, contracting, or construction services, including knowledge of AMECO’s product offering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality support in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Some college/associate degree in a related field, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, report generation, and sales presentations.
  • Experience with SAP Business One is a definite plus.
