About the role

AMECO is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Representative to join our team in the Evansville, IN to St. Louis, MO area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in sales, account management, or business development, with prior experience in the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting, or construction services.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share by prospecting new business and servicing existing accounts.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers to drive increased customer spend and trust in AMECO.
  • Manage an assigned account base, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales and profitability objectives.
  • Use a CRM platform to build a pipeline of qualified businesses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Outside sales, Account management, or Business Development.
  • Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting, or construction services, including knowledge of AMECO's product offering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Some college/associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, report generation, and sales presentations.
  • SAP experience, especially SAP Business One, is a definite plus.
