Responsibilities
- Install and maintain security systems, card readers, electric door strikes, motion sensors, CCTV systems, and safety systems including alarm systems.
- Install Access Control Panels & Systems
- Install various access control devices
- Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables
- Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms
- Perform other duties as required
- Fire stop various types of cable penetrations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or commensurate experience
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- One year experience in Access Control, CCTV and Alarm Systems
- Proficient in DSX Access Systems
- PC Proficient
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to pass drug and background screens
- Able to obtain Texas DPS Private Security License
- Manufacturer training preferred
- OSHA preferred
