Commercial Sales Development Representative

About the role

Every successful Weather Shield Sales Consultant starts by mastering the fundamentals. Our CSDRs create opportunities, open doors, build relationships, and generate qualified appointments for our Account Managers. This is the first step in our professional sales development program — built to develop future Account Managers who understand our customers, our process, and our philosophy before they ever manage their own territory.

Responsibilities

• Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within your assigned market as needed.
• Create opportunities for Commercial Sales Consultants to generate qualified appointments.
• Research commercial properties and organizations within your market.
• Manage a healthy sales pipeline in Dynamics CRM.
• Execute daily outbound phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Qualify opportunities using Weather Shield's consultative sales methodology.
• Collaborate with Sales Consultants, Estimating, Marketing, and Sales Leadership.
• Continuously improve through coaching, role play, training, and self-development.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline hygiene.
• Represent Weather Shield professionally in every customer interaction.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
• Demonstrated work ethic through athletics, military service, employment, leadership roles, or other challenging pursuits.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems is helpful but not required.
• Previous sales, customer service, internship, or business development experience is a plus.
