Commercial Roofing Supervisor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps in their respective region.
• Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
• Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist, including random site visits and proper documentation.
• Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses, overtime hours, and billable time.
• Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle discrepancies between Field Reps and Sales Reps.
• Communicate professionally and timely with customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
• Be the primary contact for office personnel regarding Field Rep issues.
• Ensure all Field Reps maintain a professional appearance and demeanor during services.
• Train Field Reps according to WTI Training Policy, covering proper service completion, safety training, and documentation.
• Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and address employee and work-related issues.
• Consult with the Regional Business Manager and HR as needed.
• Hire new personnel and ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office.
• Conduct new employee orientation and training on company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and technical/safety information.
• Handle administrative matters and corresponding paperwork, including expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
• Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
• Attend all required calls and meetings.
• Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
• Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
• Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
• Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control.
• Functional computer skills.
• Safety training and OSHA knowledge.
• Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

Other Requirements

• Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
