Position Summary

Works closely with the Commercial Banking Officer(s), Commercial Processing Team, Commercial Servicing Team, Commercial Post Close and Branch Staff. Responsible for servicing diverse commercial portfolios and building and maintaining member relationships.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance in-person to commercial members in all areas of the member relationship with Magnifi Financial including loans, deposits, and other services.
  • Effectively communicates to the commercial member, Commercial Banking Officer (CBO) and support staff teams on loan, deposit and services status/updates.
  • Affords assistance, directly and indirectly, with maintaining assigned CBO(s) deposit & loan portfolios.
  • Maintains existing member commercial lending files by reviewing files and monitoring lending reports and ticklers to assure that proper documentation is included and up to date.
  • Inputs data for all loan requests, renewals, ad hocs, change memos and annual reviews into the lending system.
  • Maintains a significant level of knowledge and understanding of loan documentation, credit policy and state and federal regulations.
  • Keeps abreast of rules, regulations and Magnifi Financial policy relating to member commercial loans.
  • Works with CBO to monitor construction loan process, including following procedures to disburse funds to appropriate parties and collecting lien waivers.
  • Suggests, and helps implement, process improvements to improve departmental efficiencies.
  • Actively participates in community relations efforts to contribute to the mission and visibility of Magnifi Financial.

Education And Experience

  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Three years of commercial banking experience in a financial institution preferred, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained from related work experience.

Pay

Salary Range: $24.39/hr. through $36.59/hr. Salaries vary based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. Total compensation package varies based on position and may include bonuses, performance-based incentives, commission, and/or discretionary bonuses.
