Key Responsibilities
- Aids lenders with loan underwriting to ensure documents are completed accurately and promptly.
- Aids lenders with loan documentation, excluding clean-up tasks, and provides administrative support as needed.
- Aids customers with general loan inquiries, particularly regarding payment information.
- Understands loan packages and documentation to assist lenders in thoroughness and exception clearance.
- Aids lenders in relationship summaries, customer exposure limits, and credit report pulls.
- Knowledgeable about commercial deposit cash management solutions to assist in onboarding and servicing client relationships.
- Makes necessary General Ledger entries to assist customers with fund transfers or payments.
- Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.
- Aids in planning and organizing public relations projects.
- Tracks customer referral programs and employee referrals, including incentive programs like merchant services, insurance, and investments.
- Aids in managing non-interest income vendors.
- Aids lenders throughout the loan origination process, including communication with lawyers.
- Coordinates with lenders on portfolio management, including maturing loans and servicing.
- Creates CIF records and opens deposit accounts as applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adheres to all Bank policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.
- Complies with regulatory requirements including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC to assist in identifying, detecting, and deterring money laundering or other unlawful activities.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of secretarial or executive assistant experience, preferably in a financial institution.
- Hands-on banking experience is a definite asset.
- Proficient typing, calculator, and word processing skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Organization and efficiency are essential.
- Proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
- Jack Henry or similar experience is beneficial.
- A valid driver license of the state in which they reside.
