This position reports to the Market President and is responsible for managing and maintaining borrowing relationships, developing new and existing business, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and/or Portfolio Managers. Key areas include loan quality, fee income generation, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and prospects through referrals, business calls, and community involvement.
- Analyze customers’ financial data, structure and negotiate credit transactions, and perform ongoing credit management.
- Service existing customer relationships to maximize profitability.
- Pursue repayment of loans and contact customers with past-due loans or overdrawn accounts.
- Detect problem loans early and generate reports for management on weak and criticized loans.
- Assist other lines of business with business development.
- Serve as a resource and trainer/coach to associates.
- Approve loans within authority and present loans for approval at various committees.
- Manage the current loan portfolio.
- Mentor and coach Relationship Managers to generate revenue (e.g., RM II’s generate revenue at 20/10/10).
- Analyze and interpret numerical data, solve complex problems, and make independent decisions within the Bank’s loan policies.
- Originate new procedures and approaches to problems under frequent time pressures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
- 4 or more years of banking, finance, or sales-related experience.
- Six months or more of credit analysis experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Ability to mentor and coach other Relationship Managers.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for complex, precedent-free scenarios.
Pay
Base pay range: $176,000 – $231,881 per year. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
