About the role
The Commercial Regional Sales Manager role is based in Texas and is responsible for driving sales in the commercial segment of the U.S., focusing on the institutional and HMAC markets. This role requires a proactive approach to achieve both short and long-term sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive Company Goals and Results
- Be a key contributor in the strategy creation and market execution of all components of the Commercial Pool Segment Business Unit
- Lead the field sales efforts in the assigned geography to provide customer support and influence customers to purchase Fluidra Brand products
- Present to key Aquatic Design Firms to influence specifications for Fluidra products
- Develop distribution networks to stock and support product demand in the assigned geography
- Develop relationships with and drive product sales with commercial contractors who build and/or service commercial pools
- Manage expenses and sales accommodation to assigned budget levels
- Support Bids/quotes to drive project sales and develop sales strategies to win in the Bid/Spec. project market
- Provide technical assistance and sales support for Fluidra products to drive specifications and sales
- Cook up with the Residential Sales force to provide support and assistance with their customers operating in the commercial segment
- Travel as needed to support customers, attend trade shows and sales meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SalesForce.com software to track leads, set opportunities, schedule calendars of hunting and farming target customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate leadership, sales planning, negotiation and customer service skills
- Travel by air & car is required, approx. 50% of job related time will be in overnight travel
- Communication proficiency (verbal and written) and strong presentation skills
- Proven track record growing product sales in a construction-based product industry
- Experience with customers and the sales processes in a Commercial Bid/Spec industry
- Ability to travel throughout U.S. and Canada with a Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Preferred: Strong sales relationships with commercial pool distributors, Outside sales experience with Aquatic Design Firms, Nationally, Proven track record of sales growth and achieving sales targets for a manufacturer of commercial swimming pool products
- Pool industry experience in a senior sales role
