About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our dynamic team. The Technician I will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our ice machines, providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, and maintain ice machines according to Easy Ice's standard operating procedures
• Perform routine inspections and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and communicating with customers about service needs
• Manage truck stock and ensure timely and efficient service for customers
• Facilitate accurate payments and assist with the proper shutdown or removal of equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational/Technical Training preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance is a plus
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
