Commercial Refrigeration Technician HVAC-R

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our team in the Tucson area. This position involves servicing ice machines, performing preventative maintenance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, and maintain ice machines according to Easy Ice's standard operating procedures
• Conduct routine inspections and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and communicating effectively with customers and coworkers
• Document all actions taken during service visits and ensure proper truck stock and vehicle cleanliness
• Facilitate accurate payment processing and assist in the removal of equipment when necessary
• Manage pickup and delivery of ice as needed for service calls
• Identify and report additional actions required to enhance customer satisfaction
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational/Technical Training preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance is a plus
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
