Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and other relevant transaction documents as well as leases, lease amendments, and other leasing and asset management-related documents.
• Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions as well as complex office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use leasing matters throughout the United States.
• Assist with real estate joint venture structures.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys throughout the firm on real estate matters.
• Serve clients through the full lifecycle of real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant commercial real estate legal experience.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Georgia in good standing.
• Experience working with sophisticated real estate developers, investors, and owners on complex transactions, such as portfolio acquisitions, vertical development, assemblages, and funds.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive work ethic.
