Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts and transaction documents
  • Aid clients with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects
  • Conduct due diligence reviews, including title, survey, zoning, and regulatory analysis
  • Prepare and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, easements, and related real estate documents
  • Advises clients on legal and business risks associated with commercial real estate transactions
  • Work closely with lenders, developers, investors, brokers, and other transaction stakeholders
  • Research and analyze real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Support property management and operational legal matters
  • Assist in resolving real estate disputes and litigation matters when necessary
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and practical legal counsel

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable State Bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate law or related transactional practice areas
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract review skills
  • Understanding of commercial real estate transactions and legal documentation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client service

Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial acquisitions and dispositions
  • Exposure to commercial leasing matters
  • Familiarity with real estate financing transactions
  • Experience conducting title and survey reviews
  • Background working with developers, investors, lenders, or institutional clients
