Commercial Real Estate Associate (Mid-Level)
About the role
Venable LLP’s Commercial Real Estate Group seeks an associate with a minimum of three years of law firm experience to join the group in our Baltimore, Tysons, or Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities
- Work closely alongside the practice’s Chambers-ranked partners on acquisition, disposition, and leasing transactions.
- Proficient in title and survey due diligence.
- Borrower-side financing experience is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm environment.
- A juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant bar.
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
Skills
- Commercial real estate experience.
- Proficiency in title and survey due diligence.
- Borrower-side financing experience (optional).
Benefits
- The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000.
- The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
