Commercial Portfolio Manager II

For our client, we are seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager II to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee a commercial lending portfolio with a strong focus on credit quality, relationship growth, and thoughtful financial analysis. The position partners closely with clients and internal credit stakeholders to support informed lending decisions and responsive portfolio management. It is well suited for a finance professional who can balance customer relationships, underwriting discipline, and deal support in a dynamic banking environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $130,000 – $138,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and maintain ongoing client relationships through visits and regular communication Expand client relationships by assessing their evolving financial needs Analyze financial statements to build a comprehensive understanding of client needs Maintain credit quality for the assigned portfolio Prepare loan approval forms and ensure proper underwriting with credit partners Evaluate monthly financial performance and compliance of borrowers Actively participate in deal processes and contribute to opportunity memos and models Qualifications Bachelor's degree 7 years of commercial banking and/or credit underwriting experience Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage customer relationships effectively Benefits Comprehensive benefits supporting holistic wellbeing Incentive eligibility for all roles, excluding Co-Op, Intern, or Student positions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
