What you'll do
- Reporting to the Director, Commercial Strategy, the Commercial Planning Manager for Beauty is responsible for ensuring our go-to-market pricing and promotional strategies are adhered to by the sales team.
- Additionally, the Planner takes the lead on strategic inventory planning including allocation, runout, closeout and development of In-Store Merchandising vehicles.
- The Planner is a key business partner to Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Planning Managers on other categories and the rest of the Beauty Commercial Strategy Team.
- Optimization of commercial team plans with a focus on price and promotion guideline exception reviews, approvals and tracking
- Recommend changes to promotional plans based on available data (such as TPO) to help optimize promotional plans
- Approval of funding tied to Markdowns and IMF
- Leading strategic inventory planning when it comes to allocation, runout and options for the closeout channel
- Developing In-Store Merchandising vehicles, working with Marketing, Sales and external partners to lead the steps from design through forecast
- Develop scorecards, reporting & analytics to support brand growth strategies
- Work with the full Beauty Commercial Strategy team on special projects, improvements in processes and serve as backup for team
What makes you a good fit
- Strong analytical & financial acumen
- Min 5 years of CPG sales or marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- Experience partnering with retailers preferred
- Positive can-do attitude -- collaborative, team-oriented approach -- diligent work ethic
- Able to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex, matrix and fluid environment
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and Syndicated POS data

Pay
The salary for this role is $120,000.00 - $165,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
