About the Opportunity

The Commercial Operations Director is a senior strategic leader responsible for designing, building, and managing the infrastructure that drives commercial performance. This role influences go-to-market execution, revenue optimization, and scalability by partnering across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. It plays a critical role in shaping commercial policy, managing commercial systems, and delivering data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate commercial revenue operations across departments to optimize the commercial lifecycle
  • Lead commercial planning including compensation, quotas, territory design, and coverage modeling
  • Identify new market opportunities and channel strategies with senior leadership
  • Manage commercial policy, pricing governance, discount frameworks, and deal approval processes
  • Own pricing strategy, deal desk leadership, and contracting standards
  • Oversee commercial analytics infrastructure, executive reporting, and forecasting models
  • Govern CRM ecosystem and commercial systems, managing vendor relationships and compliance
  • Lead commercial process standardization and continuous improvement efforts
  • Serve as a senior partner on commercial transformation, organizational design, and capability building
  • Lead cross-functional projects including M&A integration, new product launches, and market expansions
  • Build and mentor the Commercial Operations team, fostering analytical rigor and operational excellence
  • Champion change management related to commercial processes and systems
  • Represent Commercial Operations in executive forums and liaise with the Board on commercial matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in relevant commercial operations or strategy roles
