Responsibilities
Sales Support and Enablement
- Partner closely with the sales team to understand their needs and challenges.
- Provide tools, training, and resources to help them effectively execute the go-to-market strategy and improve their productivity.
- Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact for the sales team—comfortable following up with and pushing back on senior stakeholders when needed to get things done.
- Assist in evaluating and enhancing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help implement best practices and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Support the administration of the CRM system (Salesforce) for your assigned product line. Help ensure data integrity and provide basic training and support to the sales team. (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required.)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to sales operations.
Sales Tools & Technology Evaluation
- Support the evaluation, piloting, and rollout of new sales tools (e.g., conversational intelligence, deal health/scoring, AI-assisted tools)—from initial evaluation through adoption with the sales team.
- Partner with IT/vendor stakeholders as needed during tool evaluation and implementation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain and update sales dashboards and reports for your assigned product line, using existing data sources and established analytics infrastructure.
- Support pipeline forecasting for your product line, working from data and models already in place.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, conversion rates, and sales cycle metrics.
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses and help translate findings into clear, actionable takeaways for the sales team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support the planning and delivery of commercial projects and programs, such as sales campaigns, OKR deliverables, and other strategic initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional efforts with technical and business SMEs to help identify and refine business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to optimize processes and workflows.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a sales-facing, client-facing, or other stakeholder-facing role; examples include SDR/BDR or junior AE, sales coordination, deal desk, sales enablement, client services/account management, FP&A business partner, or consulting. What matters most is a demonstrated ability and willingness to engage directly with a sales team, not a specific title.
- A curious, motivated, ownership-oriented mindset—we can teach tools and process; we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and takes initiative.
- Comfort and confidence initiating with and following up with senior, busy stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in or exposure to the healthcare industry a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
