About the role
Cambria is seeking a motivated, sales and relationship-driven individual to grow our business within the architectural and design community. The candidate will develop, cultivate, and expand sales of Cambria throughout an assigned territory, providing a superior standard of service to prospects and customers while marketing the Cambria brand. Successful candidates must reside in the assigned territory, work remotely, and travel locally to engage with customers.
Responsibilities
- Sell Cambria by building and cultivating solid relationships:
- Develop and maintain strategically beneficial working relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers in the assigned territory.
- Proactively plan and schedule sales calls with partners who influence specifications.
- Collaborate daily with Market Reps to steward and close active projects.
- Provide samples for specific projects and update product libraries with Cambria designs, marketing materials, and contact information.
- Actively participate in industry associations (e.g., IIDA, AIA) for networking.
- Be available for daily customer meetings, including meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or events (Cambria/industry-sponsored or sporting), sometimes outside normal business hours.
- Sell Cambria through a continual organized and professional presence in the local market:
- Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans to direct efforts and calibrate progress with your District Manager.
- Accurately collect and update customer information in Salesforce daily.
- Accurately collect and update commercial project information in the project tracker through the Commercial Nerve Center daily.
- Identify and participate in appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition.
- Maintain and submit expense invoices for reimbursement daily.
- Sell Cambria by educating on and representing the brand and product:
- Present product knowledge materials to architects, designers, and specifiers.
- Educate customers on product attributes, differentiators, and the value, quality, and history of the brand.
- Understand all sales and marketing programs and materials to present them effectively.
- Proactively become an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes, including LEED and Green issues.
- Maintain high-level business, financial, and industry expertise to advise partners effectively.
- Conduct quality AIA and IDCEC continuing education seminars.
- Actively use social media channels to promote the brand and product.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, preferably within the architectural and design field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with Concur and Salesforce preferred.
- Must reside in the assigned territory and be able to work remotely.
- 90% local travel to customers; 10% travel to trade shows, associations, and training in Minnesota.
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials.

Pay
Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $85,000–$114,000. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related experience, and relevant education/training.
