About the role
Responsible for underwriting commercial loans to ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating loan applications and assessing creditworthiness
- Researching market conditions and economic trends
- Preparing loan documentation and presenting to loan committees
- Maintaining relationships with clients and referring new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial lending
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal lending laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills
- Excel proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
