About the role
Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C., a nationally recognized, fast-growing law firm, seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to join their Florham Park, NJ office. This position is ideal for a highly experienced litigator with a focus on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters, including all phases of discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Provide expert legal analysis and strategic advice on a wide array of insurance coverage issues.
- Draft comprehensive and well-reasoned opinion letters on complex legal questions related to insurance coverage and commercial disputes.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client advice.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, other associates, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, contributing to the firm's collegial and supportive environment.
- Participate in business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing Bar admission in New Jersey.
- 8+ years of experience specifically in commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting clear, concise, and persuasive opinion letters.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Prioritize management of multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professional integrity and a commitment to client service.

Pay
$165,000 - $210,000 (or potentially higher depending upon qualifications and other factors).
