Responsibilities
- Conduct complex legal research and writing in support of commercial litigation matters.
- Draft and revise motions, oppositions, replies, memoranda of points and authorities, and other substantive legal briefs.
- Support law-and-motion practice, including dispositive motions and other significant pretrial motions.
- Analyze statutes, case law, and other legal authority to develop well-supported legal arguments.
- Collaborate with litigation counsel on legal strategy and written advocacy.
- Provide substantive litigation support across three active commercial litigation matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of commercial litigation experience as a practicing attorney.
- Demonstrated experience with legal research and writing in complex commercial litigation matters.
- Extensive experience drafting substantive motions, briefs, memoranda of points and authorities, and other litigation filings.
- Strong law-and-motion experience.
- Able to independently manage substantive legal writing assignments.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
