A highly regarded, full-service Chicago law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes business disputes alongside a collaborative team of accomplished litigators. The practice represents private and public companies, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals across a broad range of industries in complex commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Complex commercial and business litigation
• Contract disputes and breach of contract matters
• Construction-related disputes
• Privacy and data-related litigation
• Insurance coverage and insurance-related disputes
• Litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations and mediations
• Case management from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and client counseling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Experience handling sophisticated business disputes with significant client responsibility
• Construction litigation, privacy, or insurance coverage experience is a plus
• Illinois Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $250,000+
• Performance-based bonus tied to production and billables
• Origination bonus
• 1,900 billable hour expectation
• Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
