About the role

Our client, a growing premier New York law firm, is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Attorney to one of their 5 offices. If you are looking to join a highly-sophisticated, collegial firm with exponential room for growth, this opportunity may be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct thorough and effective legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to effectively manage cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 0-6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience with drafting and arguing motions, conducting discovery, and handling trials.
• Exceptional legal writing skills and strong oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Pay

$135,000 - $180,000 per year
